Coleford Energy Efficient Homes 2024
Coleford Climate Action are a new group in the village, preparing the community by adapting
to the changing climate, helping all of us to be more energy efficient. Our big project for this year is a Coleford Energy Efficient Homes event. We are looking for people in the parish who have already taken steps to improve the energy efficiency of their home. This may have included:
● Installing a heat pump
● Installing solar for electricity generation
● Installing solar for water heating
● Remodelling rooms for better efficiency
● Installing insulation or triple-glazing
● Draught-proofing and more.
These could be turned into case studies for our new website to help others achieve similar results or, in the future, be part of Coleford Energy Efficient Homes 2024.
We are planning smaller events to help you make your home energy efficient (cheaper to run), and other ways of keeping warm in the winter months.
